If you are starting up a new site, remember that content is everything. But dont have everything on one page, or the visiter will be scrooling for ages!
Submit your site to Search Engines, because all NetUsers goto search engines.
Make your site intresting and unique. Dont go copying everything from other sites, or they will just go there!
Join UBB's, and tell people your site. Its an easy way to get hits!
Upload a Counter (see below) so you can see how may people are visiting. Its an easier way to tell people how many hits you get a day on average.
Have Interactions, like UBB's, Polls and more. This will make the visitor come back.
Finally, make the site look good. OR make it look different, or else people wont come back due to the looks.
